‘Money’ has ceased to be a medium of exchange as well as a store of value. It’s just become a tool to make money out of money: a deadly sin in Islam!

    Agreed that money can no longer be used as a store of value. Surely the
    time has now come therefore that savers etc., should have a LEGAL RIGHT
    to the return of full value on any deposits they have with financial institutions. This should go a long way to solving some of the problems
    now being experienced as the functions of money have been so undermined.
