Very special gins come to us from faraway New Zealand, which at first glance give a gloomy impression due to their dark bottles. But this impression is deceptive, because when you open the bottle, a fruity and flowery aroma spreads that is immediately inviting. The Scapegrace Gold Gin is now the third gin in this series to be produced by the Rogue Society Distilling Co.
The Gold Gin
In terms of production and botanicals, Scapegrace Gold is very reminiscent of its predecessor, Scapegrace Silver Gin. This is because the golden version was also produced with just as much attention to detail and only the finest spring water from the New Zealand Alps. The botanicals used are the same as those we already know from the silver edition: Juniper, cardamom, coriander, orris root, lemon and orange peel, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg. However, there is one special feature that gives Gold Gin a unique character that sets it apart from classic Silver Dry Gin:
Uniquely fruity
In addition to the botanicals already contained in Silver Gin, a special addition has been made to Gold Gin. Enriched with mandarin, Gold Gin surprises with a particularly fruity character. It has a highly recognizable taste and is a perfect choice for all lovers of slightly sweet and fruity flavours. This tangerine flavor also makes it ideal for mixing fruity cocktails.
