Bollinger Special Cuvée Brut is a true classics among champagnes – but it is also one of the flagship cuvées by prestigious champagne house Bollinger. In the making of this champagne, reserve wines aged in magnum bottles in the private Bollinger cellar are used that only make up 10% of the cuvée – this fact makes this cuvée very special. Bollinger Special Cuvée is made of 60% Pinot Noir, 25% Chardonnay and 15% Pinot Meunier.
The creamy character of this cuvée is due to the special production process in which some of the wines are fermented. Like other cuvées by Bollinger, the Special Cuvée Brut presents a perfectly intense and round body with a delicate fizz. In the nose, the cuvée reminds of sun-kissed and sweet apricots, spreads notes of nuts, honey, apple and grapefruit. On the palate it seduces your taste buds with a wonderful complex structure and its full-bodied character.
