Monkey 47 is a Dry Gin from the Black Forest. The number in the name hints at the number of the different botanicals that were used to aromatise the gin. Among the ingredients are regional herbs and berries from Baden-Wuerttemberg but also exotic blossoms and spices. The water for the gin is from a house-owned spring. Until the gin is filled into the stylish 500 ml bottles it rests in stoneware barrels.
