Krug Grande Cuvée with GP
The Krug Champagne House
Every year, the Krug Champagne House produces a wonderfully unique edition of the Grand Cuvée. This success story began with the dream of founder Johann-Josef Krug, who moved to Paris to make it big in the champagne business. From an early age, he learned the winemaking trade in his home region, the Moselle, before finally launching champagne on the market every year, which is more like a work of art than a drink. Because more quality and taste in champagne is virtually impossible.
Production
The Grande Cuvée is created by blending 120 wines from over 10 different vintages and then matures for six years in its own wine cellar. For the production, Johann-Josef Krug has a large reservoir of wines, which he stores separately. The result is the finest and most elegant champagne that France has to offer.
This year's Grand Cuvée
This year's Grand Cuvée also delights with its very own extraordinary taste components. The nose is first pampered with the hearty aromas of toasted toast, spicy almonds and candied fruit. If you then take a sip of this fine beverage, the taste begins with a floral freshness. This is then complemented by spicy almonds and a hint of honey and shortbread. The result is a well-rounded taste experience that will delight every champagne fan.
