And 2020 in particular has held a few lemons in store for many of us. That's why this edition of Gin Sul is dedicated to all those who don't let it get them down, but keep going and keep getting back up.
Inspiration from Portugal
The special edition of Gin Sul is inspired by the beauty of the small Portuguese town of Odeceixe. The beautiful sunsets, the fine sea breeze and the rough waves of the Atlantic provided the inspiration for this very special edition. But the stories of the residents also played their part: whether surf instructors, fishermen, distillers, bar owners or lemon growers, each of them has their own story of how 2020 has given them a lemon.
A lemony blend
Inspired by these stories, Gin Sul decided to make the most of these lemons: Gin. That's why a strong lemon aroma also forms the character of the 2020 special edition. Juniper, lemons from Portugal, lemon balm, lemon verbena, basil, lemon thyme and kaffir lime are used to create a uniquely fresh and lemony blend that will tantalize your taste buds.
