A spoonful of cucumber makes the medicine go down. That seems to be the motto of Doctor Polidori’s Cucumber Tonic. This special type of tonic water is one of many drink innovations introduced by Capulet & Montague. The Saarlanders have already amazed many mixologists with Ferdinand’s Gin. The Cucumber Tonic thus makes a great addition to the brand’s already fantastic repertoire. It is produced with the use of fizzy carbonated water, quinine and cucumber extracts. Mix Doctor Polidori’s Cucumber Tonic for example with Hendrick’s Gin which also comes with cucumber aromas.
For this soft drink series, Capulet & Montague was inspired by a physician called Doctor John William Polidori. He himself is unfortunately not responsible for the production of the drinks as he died almost 200 years ago. He came to reasonable fame as a close friend and the personal doctor of poet Lord Byron as well as through own published writings.
