Production
The Grande Champagne is considered the best wine-growing region in France. Frapin VSOP is made exclusively from grapes from the heart of Grande Champagne. In fact, Frapin is able to cover the entire demand for grapes itself. Once the harvest is complete, the grapes are distilled using yeast. After preparation, the distillate matures for eight years in Limousin oak barrels. By interacting with the noble wood, the cognac develops its orange colour and fabulous aromas, ranging from vanilla to fruity orange.
Taste
Frapin VSOP tastes particularly mild and smooth. The nose soon reveals notes of spring meadows, oranges and fine vanilla. The palate is dominated by complex and powerful hints of dried flowers and oranges. It continues harmoniously and softly. Vanilla and fine floral aromas transform into a long-lasting finish with cinnamon and pepper. Frapin VSOP offers a wonderful aromatic intensity.
