This tequila simply hits every note: Clase Azul Reposado. Those who know their fair share about the agave spirit are probably already aware of this drink being a variation that has spent several months in a wooden cask. The word "reposado" can roughly be translated as "rested". But even if you are not that big of a tequila connoisseur, you will definitely know this drink to be special judging from the bottle alone. The beautiful ceramic decanter is hand-decorated by Mexican artisans and underlines the uniqueness of the Clase Azul Reposado.

The tequila within the bottle is manufactured on the basis of organic blue weber agaves, which grow for nine years to respectable size in the highlands of Jalisco. The hearts of the agaves, also called piñas, are slowly cooked for 72 hours in traditional stone ovens. Afterwards, they are fermented with the use of a special strain of yeast and then distilled in a copper still. The most promising distillate is mixed with water that has been filtered five times through natural ways, and the resulting mix is then again filtered three times. Finally, the tequila spends eight months in casks made of American oak.

What can you expect with Clase Azul Reposado? The drink seems to glow with an inviting and pleasant amber colour. The texture of the tequila can be described as velvety and full-bodied. Explore the aromas of wood, vanilla, fruit, toffee caramel and cooked agave. Enjoy it neat and get to know a real premium tequila with Clase Azul Reposado!
