Gin from the far north
Bareksten Botanical Gin comes from the Norwegian distillery Oss Craft Distillery. Its dark bottle design is reminiscent of the mysterious forests of the far north. Bareksten Gin is inspired by the female figure Hulda, who, according to a Norwegian forest legend, lures men into her cave with her beauty and charm. If she manages to get married in the church, she loses her beauty, according to the legend. With this dark saga as inspiration, the Norwegian distillery has created an exciting gin that is at least as mysterious.
Botanicals and taste
Bareksten Botanical Gin is made exclusively from natural Norwegian botanicals. This is how the gin achieves its wonderful aroma and unique quality. In terms of taste, blueberries, lingonberries, rhubarb and elderflower in particular provide fruity notes. There are also some herbs such as mint and a further 20 botanicals, although these remain secret. This allows the gin to retain its mystical aura.
