Customer Review

I have ordered several different brands. The first was more expensive and only came with one screen. Installation was with a frame for placement. Never having having attempted to install a screen protector, I totally botched it.
I then ordered the Apiker 2-screen pack because it was less expensive. I watched the installation video and it looked easy. So I bought it. I found the alignment hinge stickers to be not sticky enough and when I flipped the protector over onto the iPad, the sticker hinges lifted and the alignment was off. I lifted the screen and tried to eyeball the alignment and ended up with several bubbles that I could not smooth out.
Being a perfectionist, I started over again with the 2nd screen. I thought I had securely affixed the sticky hinges, but once again, the hinges loosened, but I was able to compensate and eyeball the alignment correctly. This time I had even more bubbles. After lifting the screen about half-way and resealing, I still had numerous bubbles that I could not “squeegee” out.
In exasperation I contacted Apiker and asked for a replacement because I had seen a number of reviews that raved about their customer service. I too, can rave about their customer service. I had a new double screen pack within a few days.
I was actually afraid to try installing it and waited several weeks before attempting.
I installed the first of the two screens today. I applied the hinge stickers. As I folded the screen back, like an open book, I let the screen rest against the package box that it came in, rather than letting it rest flat on the table. I sprayed my hands with canned air to remove any dust or lint from mr hands. I then cleaned the iPad screen per the instructions. I sprayed the iPad with canned air. Then I carefully removed the film from the screen and slowly flipped the screen into position. The hinge stickers again were loose, but I was able to align it perfectly. I had one air bubble at the lower right corner, so I lifted the corner about an inch and it resealed perfectly. There was a particle of dust in the upper left corner. I lifted the corner and attempted to remove the particle, but when the screen resealed, the particle was still there. I applied thumb pressure to the screen in that area and it is barely noticeable. The entire procedure took about 3 minutes.
I’m glad I have a backup screen now. I cannot comment on the durability of the screen, but I expect it to hold up well. Touch screen capability is great. I cannot comment on iPen writing capability, as I don’t have occasion to use it.
I give high praise to Apiker customer service.
Live and learn, and be patient.
