This Shop App is terrible. I did not request my details be added to this but found when I purchased something on a trusted site the payment was made through 'Shop'. Since then, any purchases I make on line are intercepted by 'Shop' and money automatically deduct for the purchases through this rogue and scam site. Also, you can't remove your contact details or delete your 'so called account' that you never opened in the first place, from this 'Shop' site as the tab to do this conveniently states "Something went wrong, please check your internet". This site needs to be reported.

Only seeing these reviews as usual when its too late it seems the vendors are scammers in the main and these people are impossible to contact.

I used shop once and straight way my card was used to make fraudulent purchases. Luckily my bank refunded and replaced my card. Just ordered from another store and payment went through shop even though I had deleted it. Genuinely worried again now.

Scam. Purchased ski equipment from SKKIL.COM and it never arrived. I received an email saying the order was received and a tracking number would follow and to log onto the SHOP app to follow the mailing. The tracking number email never arrived and the company has not responded to multiple emails I have sent. Currently trying to recover my funds through my CC provider.

if i only i could put 0 stars, awful company order from a jewellery place and it went though to track with shop, if gives no updates for your parcels, my parcel was shipped almost 6 days ago last time i ordered it arrived a day after being shipped with no updates i have no clue where the parcel is absolute joke

I ordered a product from a store, it has been 6 days which was fine. I don’t mind waiting but today I look at the shop app only to see the store I purchased from no longer exists. Clearly a scam.

When I reported to The Shop app, their support team were no help. They recommended emailing the store but that would only escalate my issue as they can hack me via an email.

I have sent rnail after snail to the dress shop and no answers but they send me something saying I have earn money to spend in their shop! Beware…look before you buy on Google for reputation of shop … don’t rely on Shop/Spotify to check out the company they are letting in Shop.

Purchased item from a store on Shopify through Shop Pay, but store never delivered goods. Cannot contact any representative, cannot lodge complaint, cannot even access shop.app on the PC. You can check out easily with Shop Pay, but I've learned this only facilitates crooked businesses and offers no assistance or remuneration when problems arise. I will use paypal any more, and will avoid Shop pay/ shopapp completely because it's a scam.

Why on earth I haven't read those reviews first before buying Hosake choking device from them..... There is no contact with this fake company, I need to contact my bank now to reverse a transaction, such a dissapointment, looks legit but it's a fake scamming organisation :(

I purchased a bread maker from one of Shop App's online shops and although there was a postal tracking number and it showed it had arrived, I did not receive the product. I contacted the seller 2 times via email but never got any response. According to Shop App's rules, a seller's failure to respond within 30 days can be reported to the platform. However, when I tried to report it, the online shop was closed and no longer existed, which prevented me from submitting a report. Regrettably, Shop App's inability to protect and take responsibility for its customers' purchases makes me question the reliability of the platform. Therefore, it is always advisable to be cautious when purchasing products from Shop App. If you encounter problems, the platform's support may not be able to fully protect your rights.

I bought a set of pots and pans, only to find out that the merchant was fraudulent and stole my money. Be extremely weary when making purchase, DO NOT use your credit card, go through either affirm or PayPal when making purchases so you have buyers protection.

Terrible company. Do not use them. Orders placed with them can disappear, and they aren't interested in missing orders. Scam seller use them.

I went to the Grapetree shop today, fantastic produce.
1 member of staff run ragged , re-stocking , running the shop , cleaning , cashing up and apparently all the extras after closing time they do not get paid for !
I didn't know we were living in Egypt 2000 years ago !
Come on down to the slaves vs Pharoahs extravaganza ! Does this not fall under HSE guidelines for safe working ? Surely 2 members of staff? What if there was an accident !??? Clearly they do not care !
Anyhow I think I will report this just to help the poor staff .

Warning. Do not use this app Shop only serves itself to collect data from you. It will not support you in disputes with the companies it promotes.
I purchased some goods and did not receive the correct items. I had to return these at my own expense and several months later I’m still waiting a refund of over £150. Shop has sent me standard email replies directing me back to the seller or to my bank. They will not help me at all.
I have subsequently deleted the app and my data from there system and I will never use them again. I would advise anybody not to use them and even go as far to suggest not shopping with any companies that they promote.

I made a purchase for a certain amount. I bypassed the Shop app and used my credit card. Shortly after I made my purchase, I received 2 different emails with attachments. Each stating that my item was shipping. The one email had a purchase price that wasn't far off from what I actually bought. (I didn't open any of the attachments) It seems like everytime I make a purchase and Shop comes up, I get scammed shortly after by unauthorized purchases. Fortunately either me or my bank catches them but I end up having to get a new card.
I truly don't trust Shop in any form. I never wanted to use Shop in any of my purchases. It just popped up on a few of my purchases. I wish I could delete the entire app from my systems.

I think that verifying that the original company you are dealing with is the key here. If the original company is not legit, your experience will be horrible. But, if it's not, then you will have a great experience.

Also, I have not given Shop my info and will not. I know it would be more convenient but I prefer to keep that information secure.

Uproot Food Store in Edmonton, Alberta is amazing and I have ordered three times and had successful deliveries of frozen food to B.C.

Can't comment on usage of their app, as it wanted permissions to view/edit all emails on my device, so obviously didn't install it.
Anyone who installs an app wanting those permissions should read some of the other reviews about these charlatans selling their data on.

Delete the app if you have not already. As everyone has said, it is a home for scammers. Shop does not guarantee anything. You will have to work through your bank or credit card company to try to get reimbursed after being scammed.
