A suggestion to list submitted, but non-processed claims

I've been using Bupa Insurance recently and I have to say, I love their service! They handle claims in such a transparent way, which made everything really easy for me. Plus, their website's UI is super straightforward. I was able to load my receipts in just 3-4 minutes. Highly recommend Bupa for anyone looking for hassle-free insurance!

One suggestion I have for Bupa Insurance is to show submitted but not yet processed claims. It would be really helpful to see them listed, just to make sure they have been submitted correctly.

A professional service run by…

A professional service run by professional staff. From the initial telephone call, where you can speak to an actual human being without being in a queue for hours and not speaking to an AI generated speech bot. Appointments are quick to get and the follow up consultation is exemplary.

Claims received

Fantastic service

FIRST TIME CLAIM NAVIGATION ON PORTAL

My first time submitting a claim via the online portal and found it to be fairly straightforward. BUPA communicated well as to status of my claim - turnaround very quick. Reimbursed within 4 days.

Claiming for recent visit to hygienist…

Claiming for recent visit to hygienist was straightforward. Sent my proof of payment etc and I received confirmation back very quickly that my claim was successful, and I would be reimbursed full amount which I was very surprised at as the previous company my firm used only reimbursed about a third of the cost.

The Dentist was amazing

The Dentist was amazing, i had not been to the dentist for years so when i arrived the dentist put me at ease and the treatment for me personally was life changing.

Fast, efficient service

Called an got a telephone consultation with a physio the day of my first contact. Talked through my symptoms, suggested actions and possible next steps. Received a exercise email within 10 minutes of the call. Follow-up offered (and taken) a week later.

Great service!

Quick and easy to get pre-authorisation for a consultation and follow up procedure, both through the Touch app and also by phone at very short notice.

Everything was explained very clearly and I was sent details of the consultants I could choose from straight away.

Highly recommended!

We have a patient at Manor Court

We have a patient at Manor Court - Southall UB1 2SH and she has complained because when they clean her in bed they clean her face after her bottom with the same flannel and now she has bruises in her arms from the previous night. They tried to blame her nails but her nails were cut the day before.

service not as advertised

service not as advertised. Nupa admitted this following my complaint and changed their information accordingly.
despite this no refund was offered on what was a totally wasted treatment.
I will never use them again and advise anyone to use a rival. I've had much better service through vitality

Since switching online GP from Babylon…

Since switching online GP from Babylon to their own system, service has been let down significantly. A few examples:
1. Appointments are short, and relevant doctor / nurses are not keen to stay on the line even to wait for finding a mirror, or switch to another line so that a better equipment can be used.
2. Appointments for kids cannot be easily booked online, but have to be done via phone call. This is of utmost inconvenience as most of the time the appointments are for kids.
3. Notes provided are not detailed enough.

Shame about call waiting!

Once you eventually get through on the phone- process is straightforward, however, every time I’ve called 10-20 minute wait to get to speak to someone- this would suggest Bupa don’t have enough call handlers. Could do better.

Tooth cleaning is extra? I've not used a private dentist before so perhaps this is standard practice, but I thought tooth cleaning was part of any dental checkup. Instead it's another appointment and another £145...

Fast, friendly and professional service

I was well looked after at every stage of the process. The physiotherapist who answered me over the phone was very friendly, he made me feel safe with the professional information he gave me and tried to listen to me very attentively.

Overall an excellent Service

On contacting BUPA initially I was told the Consultant that I had been recommended to see was not on the Open Referral Network so they were unable to cover, however they assisted with finding a consultant that I could see and gave me a pre-authorisation code straight away. The consultation was very through and a date set for surgery.

Amazing as always
