What is the best way to measure Reddit ad performance?

Reddit is a strong performance platform, showing greater incremental reach among prospects, per dollar spent, than many other social partners and delivering conversions more efficiently than many other online channels5.

However, how you will want to measure your ad effectiveness is based on your goal. If you want to boost awareness, focus on brand lift, as we can ask a test and control group brand questions and determine the lift caused by the campaign.

If you want to drive action and own your conversion data, work with us to measure conversion lift. If you want to drive action but don’t own your own conversion data, talk to us about working with a partner to measure sales lift, tune-in, or foot-traffic.

What should my attribution window be for Reddit?

Selecting the appropriate attribution window — the timeframe for crediting conversions to ad interactions — is crucial. 

Setting short attribution windows will under-value your Reddit campaign’s impact as redditors are researchers. They convert in strong numbers and return more revenue per conversion but take their time to do so.

The optimal attribution windows for Reddit are likely to be between 1 and 7 days for clicks and 7 and 14 days for views.
