I’m editing this review due to good customer service. If you are looking for a gift, go for the light up frisbee or boomerang instead. This toy looks and feels like a cheap purchase because it is thin plastic with a glued on rubber edge (to make it softer to catch). However, we have now opened it (since I couldn’t use it as the intended gift) and tried it and got some fun out of it for casual kid use.Pros: It can go a decent distance, about half the width of a standard soccer field with our fairly skilled players. Because it’s a ring, you can fidget with it twirling it on your finger or arm and watch it light up. Because it has a hole, we were tossing it up and trying to throw a lighted orange football through it. It makes cool live feed night photos, which had some minor entertainment value for the kids. Photos attached.Cons:It comes with a battery but if you ever need to replace it it’s one of those circle batteries. The soft edge is achieved with a thin rubber rim glued on, not an inherently soft rim like the old Aerobies. I would be afraid with heavy use it would start to peel off but on its first use it did stay on just fine and served its purpose. The disc doesn’t sit flat - the gap between disc and table in the photo shows the slight amount of bend.Performance cons:Biggest con -unlike their frisbees, the light goes off as soon as motion stops. I am giving this 5 starts but I do want to talk about a few opportunities with this.

I bought the purple 360. I do not have the 36 to compare to.
The color is more of a pink color up close. To viewers that are 50+ yards away see it as a light purple.
Brightness levels do not affect this.

I love the settings on the brightness levels and the timers.
Both versions should have this feature though even though they do not. Shame.
In this case you get what you pay for.

The max brightness level after a full charge doesn't last long. Maybe 5-10 minutes before it starts to automatically dim itself down to the next level. Eventually it will Dim down to low setting and then flash when batter is to low.

Honestly at night this wasnt an issue. At pitch dark the low setting was plenty. It is bright like others stated.

We had at least an hour of play time before this was dead dead. We did start out on max brightness. So your mileage will vary. I can see it lasting much longer if you start out at a lower brightness setting and a shorter timer. Our timer was set to 30s. I did drop it to 8s.

We had this at the beach. It flew very well with the wind, the weight was great and it did hit to Ocean Water a few times with no issues. We were quick to grab it though.

Charge time was about an hour. Comes with a very very very short USB-C (Nice!) to USB-C Cable.
I wish it was longer. The frisbee hangs off of the cable off of the wall outlet. Not the greatest but I dont see why you couldnt use a different cable if you have it. For the cost though it should be longer.

At night the settings were easy to see with a little green light next to the setting. Easy to press the buttons. We found every now and then we would accidently push one of the buttons.

Here is what I would like to see improve.

On the edges you see all of the LEDs. This is cool but why not on the rim put a diffuse layer and sub multiple colors of LEDs. The diffuser ring would then carry the color better. A RGB version of this would be sick.
I would also like to see a bigger battery in this thing. Figure how to distribute the weight and double down on the battery.
Add the same settings to the 36 version one in regards to the timer if haven't already.
Lastly, I see the responses but continue to work on a RGB version. There are so many out there. This thing would be sick if it was.

So to round this up... Is it worth the money? That depends on your application and what you need it for.
It held up great with 4 people throwing it in sand and salt water.
Bright and easy to see at night. Flies very well. Seems very strong.
If you are going to use this on occasion then do not spend the money on this. Get one of the glow in the dark brands with the RGB. They are not as bright and durable, but really cool at night and they fly well.
If you are an avid frisbee player / ultimate frisbee player I think you will enjoy this.

The kids were excited to use the led flying ring, however after about 10 minutes of play out in the yard, one of the led lights was already not working. It's made to be thrown right? I guess not. I was hoping the device would last longer than that. Debating between asking for exchange, refund, or just let kids play with it until it's completely dead.

UPDATE: The company was quick to make contact, offer replacement and refund. In this day and age, that's pretty good in my book. I changed my stars from 1 to 3. If the replacement product holds up, next level will be a 5. Have a good day!

UPDATE: Replacement is working as expected. Support was good to work with on replacement.

This is a fun frisbee for evening/night since it lights up. However, if you’re playing with small children it may get bent and doesn’t hold up for playing frisbee. If it’s used by older kids/adults it should be fine. Just store it properly and not on the floor of the minivan. That’s why it still gets 5 stars. It’s not the company’s fault it got stepped on and now it’s wonky. Oops!!

It does light up and flies straight most of the time. The problem I have with the product is that it is very light and plastic and doesn't seem to be that durable. Also, the instructions say you can change the light colors but I have tried numerous times and unable to do so. Daughter does think it is cool and enjoys it, especially at night.

One didn’t work but they took care of it right away!!!! Amazing company and my grandkids are loving them. I had ordered one for each of them for Easter. They are so nice because you can even use them in the house. They light up bright!

I bought this for the dog and she loves it (retrieval rather than catch). I thought the plastic would be too hard compared to a rubber Kong but something about it really excites her. The lights are great but I wish they had an option to stay on, or dimmed, when not being thrown. If she drops this in the dark I'm unlikely to find it (there is a 'flash when lost' feature but I don't think it's as reliable as 'always on'). What I'd like to see is a dog version of this - softer plastic, a simple on/off switch, an always 'dim' option - but until then this is the best I have tried.

Looks like a lot of fun at the campsite after dark. The glow in the dark rings on the inside and outside are a bonus as the lights go out when it lands. We are just coming out of winter here so looking forward to spring and travel!!
