This came packaged okay but I suspect it often doesn't arrive in tact. It was just in a bag. It didn't even have bubble wrap around it. Never the less it arrived undamaged. No nicks, dents or loose product and is cruelty free.
Okay. I have sensitive skin and I mean sensitive skin. Somebody else has a break out on their face and mine will do the same within 24 hours out of sympathy. This cleanser blew me away with how gentle it is with my skin. It was strange at first because I have never used a soap that didn't foam up. I didn't realize it was a no-foaming product when I bought it. I seem to be in good company based on other peoples reviews. They should probably mention it in their advert but don't currently do not. It takes some getting used to. It also doesn't have a light feeling to it. It's on the heavier side and a little goes a very long way.
It's not greasy but if you have oily skin already..which I do..it feels a bit like it is. My face isn't more oily so there's that but it might be better to steer clear of it if you aready have oily skin. I think it would be marvelous on overly dry skin.
As far as cleaning power goes that's not really great either. It takes off makeup but I have to scrub my skin in order for it to come clean. I don't want a lot of scrubbing because that can be damaging to the skin. Setting that aside it is working some kind of magic as my skin has become nearly blemmish free. It looks more evened out and the few dry areas I did have are all gone too (Did I mention the product is oily..lol).
Overall, I like the product. I think it's a good price point and its obviously doing something for other people based on the good reviews. I'll continue using it and enjoying the brands benefits.

Neutrogena Hydrating Facial Cleanser - Great product & reasonable price
I’ve been using this product for over a year and a half now after I had a particularly bad case of what appeared to be rosacea on my face. (I have not had an official diagnosis of rosacea but it certainly looked like rosacea.) This occurred when I was under a lot of stress due to an alarming medical diagnosis. I think my anxiety over the medical issue triggered the skin problem.A friend who has suffered from rosacea for years noticed the eruptions on my face and told me what she does for her rosacea. She told me not to use soap and to use something for sensitive skin that is free of soap. The product that she uses was quite expensive. So I looked around to see what else might work and found the Neutrogena Hydrating Facial Cleanser which cost much less than the product that she uses.No soap for my face any more! I have been using Neutrogena Hydrating Facial Cleanser regularly since then. At first I was using it twice a day, morning and evening. Currently I use it just in the morning. I have been very happy with the results.Even before the very visible skin issue that I experienced a year and a half ago, I had had small eruptions for many years that I wondered about as to whether they were due to rosacea but they were too minor for me to ask my doctor to make an official diagnosis. Using the Neutrogena product, I am now pleased not to have those small eruptions and thrilled not to get a recurrence of that major eruption.My skin has been sensitive to fragrances in ingredients before these recent problems so I had used hypoallergenic soaps previously and continue to use those when I am taking a shower but do not use them on my face. I no longer use any soap on my face. I do rinse my face well after massaging it with the Neutrogena cleanser just on the slight chance that there might be something in it that could cause any skin problem. After wetting my face, I gently massage a small amount onto my face for 60 seconds and then gently rinse very well. This works for me.The photos I've uploaded are a "before" image from 2019 and a recent photo showing how my face looks now.
