How do I know which capsule fits my machine?

Our Vertuo machines have one button to brew all cup sizes and use dome-shaped capsules, while our Original machines have 2+ buttons or a screen display to select your cup size and use bell-shaped capsules.

What are the cup sizes that Vertuo Line offers?

We offer espresso (1.35 oz), double espresso (2.7 oz), gran lungo (5.07 oz), coffee (7.77 oz), and exclusively for Vertuo Next machines.

How many capsules of coffee should I expect to receive if I order one pack on Amazon?

Each sleeve contains 10 capsules, with the exception of pour-over style, which are packaged in sleeves of 7 capsules. Please refer to the description of the assortment you are ordering to determine how many sleeves are included.

How do I recycle my capsules?

Nespresso recycling bags are not currently available through Amazon. Recycling bags can be redeemed with orders placed via the Nespresso website or Nespresso Boutique. You may also bring used capsules to a Boutique for recycling.

STORMIO: A rich & strong coffee blend. Intensity 8. Smooth, rich cereal notes are brought to the fore by Guatemalan washed Arabica, which are then blended with Nicaraguan beans to create a strong, distinct flavor. tormio is mainly comprised of dark and long roasted beans, which help to develop its intensity, both in terms of body as well as singular notes. A long prewetting and high temperature allow to express the spicy and woody notes of Stormio.

ODACIO: A long bold & lively coffee blend. Intensity 7. An audacious blend of fine Arabicas from Nicaragua and Ethiopia, Odacio is a full-bodied coffee with cereal notes accented by a slight East African fruitiness. Adding milk softens the flavor, bringing dairy, sweet notes. Fusing the flavors of two different continents, this blend of fine Arabica beans from Central America and East Africa serve up contrasting, yet complementary tastes in Odacio.

MELOZIO: A smooth & balanced coffee blend. Intensity 6. Fine quality Brazilian Bourbon and Central American Arabicas are lightly roasted to create a rounded coffee that is smooth and perfectly balanced. Adding milk opens up the softer, sweeter sides of the coffee, enhancing the biscuity notes. Central American Arabica coffee delivers balance and a harmonious character to Melozio, which is enhanced by the sweet, honey notes of fine Brazilian Bourbon coffee beans. Thanks to the split-roasting, the fine Brazilian Bourbon beans reveal flavors rich in sweet cereal notes, giving a sensuous, smooth texture. The soft character and balance is achieved through the second split of Central American Arabicas. Delicious but pricy coffee - be aware of the caffeine content though!

Ordered the 3 flavor assortment, which was promptly shipped and couldn't wait to try out the flavors. All three are pretty good, with great crema and plenty hot enough for me using a Breville machine. After trying all three flavors over the course of about 2 hours, I really didn't have an overwhelming favorite, but noticed I was feeling jittery and a bit light headed. Did some research and find that Nespresso states all of the 7.77oz capsules contain between range between 170 to 200 milligrams of caffeine per cup. So drinking three 7.77oz VertuoLine coffees means you have consumed between 510 and 600 milligrams of caffeine, and if you check, Red Bull has 111 milligrams of caffeine per 12oz can...therefore you have swallowed the equivalent of 4.5 to 5.5 cans of Red Bull! Shame on me for not looking this up in advance but I now know to limit my intake, and also have switched to the half-caf capsules which are really delicious but not as likely to over-caffeinate me!

These pods are expensive no matter which pack you buy but the quality and taste are definitely worth it. I don't drink them everyday because i own and regular coffee pot as well but also because it is a pricey life style. If you don't mind spending the money than it is definitely well worth putting out the extra cash for.
