I purchased these cotton rounds and they held up nicely when used with thin liquids: peroxide, alcohol, and water as well as with lotions if they are not too thick or tacky requiring pressure to apply/remove cream, leaving cotton fibers behind on the skin as with makeup.

These rounds are very soft, absorbent, and sturdy when wet, holding their shape and not breaking or tearing in the center or edges. The quantity for the price was well worth the money as I did a deep comparison to other brands and their offerings for the same quantity.
