However, it appears that most people agree that, if it exists, the broad-concept article should be the target, so support the proposed retarget to LGBT people in Brazil. In Canadian French, "Francophones hors Québec" refers specifically to French speakers that live in a Canadian province or territory that is not Quebec.[1] It does not apply to those living in other countries. While the expression can be found in English-language Canadian publications, where the context makes the "elsewhere in Canada" meaning clear, it does not make much sense without that context, nor does it appear to be a widely used set expression that people might search for or link to. • Retarget to Geographical distribution of French speakers. It has been argued in the previous discussion and above that this phrasing is used in Canada. That said, it has also been argued that taken literally it also refers to non-Canadian French speakers. My suggested retarget covers both groups. -- Tavix ^(talk) 18:49, 22 June 2024 (UTC)
• Keep and Refine to Francophone Canadians#Distribution that shows that Quebec French speakers are 85%, and shows the % of every other state. In usefulness, because of the statistics, I find this target better than French Canadians#Elsewhere in Canada which was the overwhelming favourite of the previous RfD. With Quebec part of the search term, I see the context as local to Canada, hence am not in favour of Geographical distribution of French speakers, nor do I support the nomination rationale. • Keep, although I wouldn't mind refining it as well per above. Now, strictly speaking and based on a logical, mathematical approach to language, this search could include French speakers outside Canada as well, such as in Africa, the Caribbean, Louisiana, and even France itself. However, I don't think such a logical and mathematical approach is how people typically use language-- when the scope of a Canadian province is specified, I think it is entirely reasonable for someone to expect to stay within the scope of Canada even without spelling it out, and the fact that this is a translation of a commonly used French-Canadian phrase that does in fact always means "within Canada" pushes me more towards keeping the target of this redirect refined to within Canada as well. • Keep: when you search "Bible Videos" in Wikipedia the first entry was the List of films of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints article, the other article that would make sense under this redirect was BibleProject, but this is an organization, and yes they make Bible videos too but they are less popular than the Church makes and they separate them as "Old Testament" and "New Testament", and not "Bible Videos", in their YouTube channel description, they dont say they make "Bible Videos", but "free resources to help you experience the Bible". • Weak retarget - The sole source for the List of films of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints#Bible Videos section refers to the videos as "Life of Jesus Christ Bible Videos". Bible Videos in my view should redirect to Christian media#Film and television, which is the closest generalised topic I could find, but I don't feel too strongly either way. • Having thought some more about this, I think my preference would be to make Bible videos a disambiguation page that includes List of films of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints#Bible Videos, The Bible in film, List of films based on the Bible, and similar articles, and then point Bible Videos to Bible videos. It simply doesn't seem right to me to imply that the LDS Church has a monopoly on producing bible videos, and I think the redirect would surprise any readers who happen to follow it. My second preference would be to retarget Bible Videos to List of films based on the Bible which could include a link to List of films of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints#Bible Videos.

The LDS have apparently done some really effective SEO here, but speaking as a former Christian, I'm pretty darn sure that "bible videos" is a generic term for any Christian or other religious media that tries to depict a story from the bible, or is a video taped sermon/lecture/bible study. Dabify as per Thryduulf. While it's true that Google points to the LDS as "primary", that's something I find baffling-- Surely at the very least Veggietales or The Prince of Egypt or any number of other mainstream, more-generally-Christian videos and films would be primary over the Mormon videos. The Stand Offedit]

This is not mentioned in the target article. Third party searches are not really helping matters to identify what subject these redirects are meant to refer either. On one hand, searching "The Stand Off Netflix" on some third party search engines returns results for miniseries Waco: American Apocalypse; however, I was not able to find any information stating that miniseries was known previously as "The Stand Off". In addition, there is also the subject at Standoff (film), made in 2016 ... but, there is also a different film which we apparently do not have an article for, which was also made in 2016, called "The Standoff" [2] starring Olivia Holt. Probably best to delete these unless a strong connection can be made between these redirects and at least one of the aforementioned subjects (or one that has yet to be created.) Upon further research, seems the subject of these redirects is not the miniseries Waco: American Apocalypse. According to an article written a few years back [3], apparently, the subject is about a screenplay (probably intended to become a film) written by Mark Heyman, but in that article, there is no mention of a subject by the name of the nominated redirects. • Weak retarget to the dab at Standoff where two films are listed. "Stand off" is obviously a very plausible search term for most things listed at the dab page, "Stand Off" equally so for at least the media productions and the Canadian community. Similarly "The Stand Off" and "The Standoff" are both completely plausible search terms for the other, but what about for things without the definite article? My gut feeling is that it's not impossible for someone to misremember the name of the media productions, but I'm not familiar with any of them hence the "weak". Currently woodshop redirects to vocational education while wood shop redirects to woodworking. The redirects should be consistent and redirect to the same place. • Comment, leaning disambiguate. Looking on google, both spellings give me so many results for shops that sell wood that it's entirely useless. Looking at the what links here, the single word variant is consistently referring to the vocational educational meaning while the two-word version is pretty even between both. However it's not possible to know how many links have been corrected (especially by the redirects being bypassed) so this can only be a single datapoint. Based on this, I think disambiguation is possibly the best option, at least in the short term. In order to get rid of shops that sell wood, I searched "Woodshop -sale" and "Wood shop -sale" on Google, and the results were pretty unambiguous in referring to either woodworking as a hobby/profession, or a workshop primarily set up for woodworking projects. (Which makes sense; the relationship 'woodshop' has with Vocational education is simply that woodworking one of the most well-known trades taught by such classes.) That said, the additional hits of Woodshop (film), Woodshop (Beavis and Butt-head episode), and Wood Shop BBQ seem like great additional targets for a dab page. Keep. It's only one letter off from amogus, a well-known meme-spelling of Among Us; meanwhile, it's two letters off from Amoonguss, a mushroom Pokemon that predates Among Us, whose name is a simple reference to the phrase "a Fungus Among Us", and who quickly became associated with Among Us in meme circles just based off the name alone.
