Labour

The 1973 Merseyside County Council election took place on 12 April 1973 to elect members of Merseyside County Council in England.[1] This was on the same day as other local elections.

There were 95 wards electing the 99 members between them.[1] Two wards, (both in Wirral), were uncontested.
