However,....

Indon does not have faith anymore in Wikipedia. When he's actively online, it means he almost falls asleep and hits the monitor screen. Vandals and spammers are his caffeine drink, but not POV-users (oh, heaven forbids those creatures in Wikipedia). Okay, tafandria mandry tompoko!

Seas and Oceans

Akanemoto has been adding those links to 100s of articles. I already removed a few from Indonesia. I counted 11 seas/oceans in Indonesa - i bet there are more. Thus he would create 11 info boxes for indonesia. He doesn't seem to realise we removed them. I wonder if anyone else has questioned him on it?? --Merbabu 05:00, 3 November 2006 (UTC)[]

I've left him a message. All those infoboxes are so stupid and uninformative. — Indon (reply) — 05:02, 3 November 2006 (UTC)[]

GA

Hey how are you? Really, I am jealous of you, you have got two GAs!!! Hehehe, oh well, I can reach your accomplishments if Religion in Indonesia is GA as well. So, can you help me (by creating the map :P). Hehehe, sorry for that. But really, you are really a great editor. Good luck and take care!! -- Imoeng 06:05, 3 November 2006 (UTC)[]

Haha, no problem. And many thanks for that. Take care -- Imoeng 09:01, 3 November 2006 (UTC)[]

Culture of Indonesia

Hi. You can revert all the changes if you like. It doesn't bother me. But my stomach ache does. Though my edits might not have been helpful, the lead needs improvement. Rintrah 10:17, 3 November 2006 (UTC)[]

Hi Indon,

Thank you sincerely for your attention to Taiwanese aborigines. You made many changes; so many that I could not address them one-by-one. I'm afraid that with great reluctance I reverted your edits, but only so that we could discuss them on the article's talk page.

Thanks again!--Ling.Nut 16:03, 4 November 2006 (UTC)[]

HI again, Indon,
Of course I want you to contribute to the article! Please don't think I don't value your contribution. And I see your point about redundancies. You just made so many changes, and some of them were not about redundancies. I would like to discuss them one by one, or at least by small groups of related changes, on the article's talk page. Thanks --Ling.Nut 17:20, 4 November 2006 (UTC)[]

Is there a particular reason why you changed the licence of Image:214761890 86afa3ab56 m.jpg? The uploader seems to be the same person that uploaded it at flikr; this is a scaled down version; it was licenced as cc-2.5 at wikipedia, and the same picture, albeit a larger version, was licenced cc-nc at flickr. Now you assumed that the image was uploaded from flickr to wikipedia... but this is just an assumption. Judging by the uploader's contribution and user page, it's the same person, the original photographer. And he licenced the photo cc-2.5 here. --Qyd 16:44, 4 November 2006 (UTC)[]

Metallica article

Why did you place so many citation needed tags in the article when there are clearly some statements that do not need references. With your logic, there would be a citation needed tag after every sentence. I would just like an explanation on why you placed those citation tags (I am probably wrong, but I just do not see how some of those sentences need to be cited). Thanks a lot. Wikipediarules2221 07:03, 5 November 2006 (UTC)[]

Alright, I see your point. If it is consensus that those comments need citations then forget I said anything. I just thought some of them were over the top. Carry on and keep up the good work. Cheers! Wikipediarules2221 22:17, 5 November 2006 (UTC)[]

WikiProject Indonesia Newsletter

Last week, two more members have joined the project, and really boost the progress of articles editing. Danny Yee and Lestari, welcome to the project, hopefully you will enjoy your stay. So, we officially have got 26 members!

More than 440 articles have been tagged with the WikiProject Indonesia template, well done to all editors who have contributed this far. Also, while copy-editing is a very useful thing to do, researching and expanding the article, or maybe one or two sections would be extremely useful, because it is the goal of the collaboration, expanding and getting a good article status.

What's new?
Several ways to increase the interactions between editors have been proposed. For now, the best solution would be the IRC Channel just for WikiProject Indonesia. Please go to #wikipedia-id if you have had experiences with IRC Channels. Or read the instructions at Wikipedia:IRC.

For people who choose not to receive this newsletter, please add your name to this list. Instead of receiving this newsletter, the bot will only send you the link to a particular newsletter.

Articles improvements
We have got another Good Article nomination! Congratulations to all editors, especially Indon, who have improved it significantly, maybe you can give six barnstars. So, with the nomination, we officially have had four good articles. Hopefully we can get plenty good articles in the future, or even featured articles.

The last collaboration was not a huge success, the Pulau Dewata is still a "start" article and has not improved much. However, seems like the collaboration spirit is back and Java has improved gradually, thanks to all editors.

Many thanks to MartinBotII, a state-of-the-art Martinp23's bot for delivering the newsletter

If you prefer to get a link to the next newsletters instead of receiving them, please add your name to this list.

Hey I am fine, how are you? No lol, it has nothing to do with the map. As I said, I haven't got much time as for doing things as usual, and its getting somewhat worse :(. However I do realise the project needs maintanence, so every two weeks, I will log in and update stuff, including newsletter. Now by that time, you should tell me what has happened :P. No, only joking, I will "watch" people's contributions. Oh yeah, about the map, no harm right? Can you still finish it? :P. I'll check that when I am back, hehehe. Alrighty, good luck and take care -- Imoeng 20:02, 5 November 2006 (UTC)[]
