This is an old revision of this page, as edited by Toddy1 (talk | contribs) at 10:05, 9 August 2020 (Faizabad & Allahabad district and division - apply WP:COMMONNAME, though there is a city called Ayodhya (pop 2011 55k), that does not mean that the list of major cities should exclude Faizabad (pop 2011 1.7m) - alphabetise list of major cities). The present address (URL) is a permanent link to this revision, which may differ significantly from the current revision.

This template's initial visibility currently defaults to autocollapse, meaning that if there is another collapsible item on the page (a navbox, sidebar, or table with the collapsible attribute), it is hidden apart from its title bar; if not, it is fully visible.

To change this template's initial visibility, the |state= parameter may be used:

Major city is a city with population greater than 1 million as per 2001 census website.
