Roofensee is a lake in Oberhavel, Brandenburg, Germany. At an elevation of , its surface area is 0.56 km².
Overview
The county is located in Roofensee Oberhavel in the north of Brandenburg, about 6 km from the border to Mecklenburg-Vorpommern away. He covered with his elongated shape in northwest-southeast direction of an area of 0.56 square kilometers and is up to 19 m deep. The Roofensee is part of the Stechlin-Ruppiner Land Nature Park. It is situated on the territory of the municipality Stechlin and borders with its southeastern end of the hamlet of Menz.
Around the lake carries a 6-mile circuit. Over a part of this road also runs the 12 km is twice as long Moorerlebnispfad that beyond the lake into the surrounding forest area. It contains five partially disabled based stations, a portion of which was completed in 2007. In its entirety, the Moorerlebnispfad on 26 Opened in June 2008.
The Roofensee is on the Polzowkanal connected with other waters, in the east with the small and large Wentowsee and in connection with the Havel, on the west with the Nehmitzsee and follow the Great Linsee holly.
