Three additional films have been announced, without release dates.[7] A Fantastic Four sequel was announced in March 2014 by 20th Century Fox before filming began on the 2015 film for a July 14, 2017 release,[12] though it was removed from Fox's schedule in November 2015.[13] Gambit was announced in October 2014 by 20th Century Fox,[14] and was scheduled to begin filming in early 2017,[15] before losing its director for second time in August 2016.[16] Inhumans was announced in October 2014 by Marvel Studios, for a release date of November 2, 2018,[17] before being removed from Marvel's release schedule in April 2016; at that time it was not considered cancelled.[18]
