John Kurila (born 10 April 1941) is a Scottish former footballer who most notably played for Northampton Town, as well as playing for Celtic, Bristol City, Southend United, Colchester United and Lincoln City .[1]
Kurila settled in the Northampton area after football — he had two separate spells with the Cobblers — and worked in the building trade, notably as a qualified carpenter. Two of his three children, Mick and Alan, became footballers at non-league level.[2]
