Vixio Regulatory Intelligence is a regulatory technology (RegTech) company providing services to the gambling and payments industries.
The company is headquartered in London, United Kingdom, and has an office in Washington D.C., U.S.A.
History
Vixio was founded in 2006 as GamblingCompliance[1].
In 2010, the company opened its office in Washington D.C.
GamblingCompliance rebranded to ComplianceOnline in 2015, when the company also launched its PaymentsCompliance solution.
In 2017, Vixio (then ComplianceOnline) launched the Global Regulatory Awards (GRAs), an annual awards ceremony recognising responsible gambling and compliance teams and individuals. That same year, the PaymentsCompliance solution won the Card and Payments Awards for Best Payments Industry Newcomer.[2]
In 2019, ComplianceOnline was acquired by Kester Capital.[3] That year the company also launched the Gambling Compliance Podcast on Spotify
In 2020, ComplianceOnline rebranded to Vixio Regulatory Intelligence[1].
Vixio was acquired by Perwyn in 2022.[4]
Vixio formed an Executive Advisory Board in 2023, comprised of senior executives in the payments industry from companies such as Google, Mastercard, Truevo, and US Bank.[5] [6]
Leadership
Vixio's CEO is Mike Woolfrey, who has been with the company since 2018.[1]
