Federal regulations require Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science (MCCMS) to disclose whether its programs meet U.S. jurisdictions' educational requirements for licensure or certification.

National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement

Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science has been approved by the State of Minnesota to participate in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements. NC-SARA is a voluntary, regional approach to state oversight of postsecondary distance education.

This agreement allows students from 49 participating states to file complaints with the state where their Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science education is based, rather than their own state of residence. More information may be found in NC SARA’s Student Complaints webpage

The only state that does not participate in SARA is California.
