Confirm Deletion of File:História Via Zoom.jpg
Dear A1Cafel, thank you for your warning about the copyright issue in this derivative file i uploaded. Though i took the four used images from Commons at the time, one of them was taken down afterwards, as it had copyright infringments (see: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Deletion_requests/File:Capistrano_de_Abreu_01.jpg).
Therefore, i would kindly ask you to delete the image i uploaded, since one of the four images is actually copyrighted (though i didn't know at the time). Sorry for any inconvenience, i'm still new to Commons and the rules for derivative works are still a little hard do understand. Again, thank you for warning me! --Pedro Toniazzo Terres (talk) 16:21, 18 June 2020 (UTC)
Your change to Template:Washington, D.C.-monthyear broke every month because it is now looking for a "in Washington, D.C. by city" subcategory (see Category:May 2013 in Washington, D.C.). -- Ricky81682 (talk) 22:49, 18 June 2020 (UTC)

Please stop uploading duplicate photos into Category:George Floyd protests in Buffalo, New York (2020-05-30)
Adam Moss's Flickr photoset has been uploaded once already. This is the second time now that I've had to take time away from other tasks to mark all 93 of the versions you uploaded as duplicates. -- AndreCarrotflower (talk) 04:20, 19 June 2020 (UTC)
- Its not only that category. I spend about now 3 days to clean up your duplicates in mostly George Floyd Catgeories. Ther ewer about 1500 in the last 3 days. Please try to stop this. Thx. --JuTa 05:49, 19 June 2020 (UTC)
- When you currently look at this you see about another 1500 recently uploaded duplicates by you. Please please stop this. You creating them quicker than I am able to process them. --JuTa 07:01, 19 June 2020 (UTC)
- JuTa - I suggest you take this to Commons:Administrators' noticeboard/User problems if the uploads and non-responsiveness continue. I would do it myself, except I will be in a situation the next few days in which I won't have reliable Internet access. It's not as if a user who has been continuously uploading material the entire time has not had ample opportunity to see these talk page messages. -- AndreCarrotflower (talk) 16:24, 19 June 2020 (UTC)
- No, I will likely block him for some days if this just continues without reaction here. --JuTa 17:32, 19 June 2020 (UTC)
- JuTa - my apologies, I did not realize you were a sysop here. -- AndreCarrotflower (talk) 18:52, 19 June 2020 (UTC)
- @JuTa and AndreCarrotflower: I will stop uploading old George Floyd images to avoid any more duplicate. --A1Cafel (talk) 02:15, 20 June 2020 (UTC)

You did it again - see here. This time in various pride and COVID categories. Please be finaly warned. Next time I'll block you for a while. regards --JuTa 20:20, 1 July 2020 (UTC)
- @JuTa: I don't know about the pride at the beginning. Since the category didn't shown about that, and I don't realize about it. --A1Cafel (talk) 02:00, 2 July 2020 (UTC)
- Anyhow, you can i.e. search for the flickr IDs before starting a batch upload like this. If you find the file(s) are already here, dont start it. It stays: Next time I'll find hundrets or thousends of dupes by you, you will get blocked. --JuTa 04:55, 2 July 2020 (UTC)
- @A1Cafel: you import files of demonstrations and protests from flickr. But in many cases you import files of events, that are already covered by hundreds of even thousends of images at commons. It would make much more sense if you imported images from demonstrations and protests that by now are not covered at commons at all. There are many images of Floyd protests in New York, brexit protests in London and pride parades in mega cities. Commons however is missing images of protests in smaller towns, of activism for less known victims of rassism, for OBR, pro-life, pro-choice, dyke marches outside US and Germany, Greenpeace, left wingers, right wingers and so on. --C.Suthorn (talk) 05:42, 2 July 2020 (UTC)

re: speedy deletion of Category:Juneteenth_2020
Greetings. I found that you have flagged the category I created for Speedy Deletion. As the flag was placed before I was able to populate the category, I am hoping you can remove the flag now as it is in use and contains images. I am unsure how to proceed, do I indeed need to replace your speedy deletion request with a regular deletion request or would it be okay for you to remove it? Thank you for any advice. Regarding your deletion request, I have to admit that these are all my own works, because it's my signature inside the camera, which I stated to User:廣九直通車 earlier this year. Don't I have the right to use another alias in my camera EXIF? --N509FZ Talk 前置,有座!Front engine with seats! 09:39, 22 June 2020 (UTC)
For your information, I have made an appeal here. --N509FZ Talk 前置,有座!Front engine with seats! 09:50, 22 June 2020 (UTC)

Additionally: do I have to appeal for all the photos I took with that camera? --N509FZ Talk 前置,有座!Front engine with seats! 10:00, 22 June 2020 (UTC)
I'm really sorry that you didn't find enough evidence. Your previous comment is simply as ridiculous (as well as bureaucratic) as some of the government departments. --N509FZ Talk 前置,有座!Front engine with seats! 15:43, 22 June 2020 (UTC)
Please be careful with your deletion request
Dear A1Cafel, I just rollbacked because it was done by myself, the source is own work how you can see in the image description. Please take more attention in your reviews --Wilfredor (talk) 04:08, 23 June 2020 (UTC)
New category you created
Hi A1Cafel....I'm not sure I agree with this new category you added for the four images I uploaded for the Black Lives Banner on the U.S. Embassy Seoul, Category:George Floyd protests in South Korea. Although the Embassy added them during the time of the George Floyd protests, there are no sources that call the banner a part of any "protest" by the Embassy or pertaining to any of the other small Seoul protests that did take place.
Anyway, I respect your decision. I have, also, placed them back in a new category Category:Black Lives Matter Seoul since I feel they pertain to Black Lives Matter, specifically, although the countries should not have been under the sub-category "jurisdictions". You were right about that, and I see you caught the other two or three that I modeled after. I think Category:Black Lives Matter by jurisdiction should be renamed under Black Lives Matter in the United States (and other countries in Black Lives Matter by country).....but it is late where I am and I will leave it to another day, and/or other editors.
Thanks for your update!--Bonnielou2013 (talk) 12:21, 23 June 2020 (UTC)
- @Bonnielou2013: I see your point. But before the death of George Floyd, there are (almost) no BLM slogan in South Korea. It is likely that the death of Floyd triggered the BLM Movement in Seoul, so that's why I moved it as part of the George Floyd protest. It seems odd now, as you mentioned for the sub-category "jurisdictions", but I'm going to do anything so as to avoid any conflict. Discussion may be required later, though. --A1Cafel (talk) 13:34, 23 June 2020 (UTC)
George Floyd protests are not Covid-19 protests
Hello, AtCafel. You are removing "George Floyd protests in X" from categories for "Protests in country X" just to put them in a Covid-19 category, but the George Floyd protests have nothing to do with Covid-19. I assume this is an accident, a mistake, but please undo those edits if they haven't been undone already. Thanks, Eissink (talk) 16:59, 23 June 2020 (UTC).

- Note that there is currently an ongoing discussion at Commons:Village pump/Proposals#Accept files published by the copyright holder with a Public Domain Mark to change our treatment of PDM, so such files should not be nominated for deletion for the time being as it's likely pointless. -- King of ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ 14:31, 25 June 2020 (UTC)

Tagging duplicate files
Hi there,
I see that you tagged File:Plélan-le-Grand CM2020.svg as a duplicate of another file. In this case, the two files are identical, but the metadata is different and they're used to represent different things, so it's simpler to keep two identical files than to make it clear that one file represents two different things. --Slashme (talk) 10:57, 1 July 2020 (UTC)
I have no idea why you're putting the videoconferencing image up for deletion
Seriously?--Tomwsulcer (talk) 10:07, 4 July 2020 (UTC)

License review tags
Hi; I noticed you tagged some files with Template:LicenseReview that we can't actually review. For example, [1] [2] [3]. As the link says, License Review is for when files are on the internet with license release text that can be changed, such as the YouTube or Flickr Creative Commons licenses, so that if that license changes, we can confirm that they were released earlier. It's not for all files everywhere. In this case, these files aren't actually marked with any license release text, they're uploaded here as (presumably) products of the US Federal Government, which would make them Public Domain as a matter of law; that can't be changed. So there is nothing here to license review. Thanks for your help. --GRuban (talk) 13:22, 8 July 2020 (UTC)

Inquiry on a file deletion submission
https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Commons:Deletion_requests/File:Empty_kikoni_roads_in_Uganda_due_to_the_covid_crisis_that_resulted_into_the_lockdown.jpg&action=history Hello Mr.A1Cafel unfortunately I got a notification about the submission of my files for deletion but I can't see any reasons for that decision because the files mentioned represent my original work Ndahiro derrick (talk) 20:33, 9 July 2020 (UTC)
Wein
Hi A1Cafel, something went wrong with the naming of your transfers from Flickr [4], [5]. The name of the city is Wien (not Wein) and in English context even better Vienna. Wein is also found in the description. May I kindly ask you to fix this, best --Herzi Pinki (talk) 07:23, 10 July 2020 (UTC)
Nominated for deletion by User:A1Cafel
User:Kerry Raymond is uploading without metadata included from Queensland State Archives, without including the date of photograph (1964), and the Licensing claim in the template is confusing.
- File:Cairncross Dockyard, Morningside C2-5167 (48261341256).jpg
- date is 1964-09-xx
- is this PD ?
- Also, are 1920 photographs by USA photographer, assuming copyrighted, are they now PD in USA?
Deletion templates
File:Trump - protest (48001916147) (cropped).jpg is already nominated for deletion.
Please therefore desist in removing the deletion template from it, and replacing it with one pointing to a second, redundant deletion discussion. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 21:09, 10 July 2020 (UTC)
