Welcome to Wikimedia Commons, A1Cafel!

File:Darwin (46668621484).jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

Alright, dear, let's get to it: I won't even bother mentioning your usual harassing behavior, of which I will soon have evidence, materialized in countless diffs – this will be addressed in due course in the topic I will open as soon as possible on the Administrators' noticeboard. It seems you haven't learned anything from the last time. The issue here is vandalism, which I will not revert using the Rollback button because you, unfortunately, are a well-established member of this project you harm so much. Please do me and the community the favor of explaining why on earth you removed Category:50th G7 summit from these seven first files or these ten first files (there's probably more); there is no justification for it. I also won't mention the lazy categorization in files like this, even though politics is a subject you seem to want to contribute to (whatever contribute means in your head) – if it's going to be like this, it would be better if you did nothing at all. Something like this would be slightly better. RodRabelo7 (talk) 10:47, 15 June 2024 (UTC)[]

Oh, and even removed the only category from files you uploaded, like this one! RodRabelo7 (talk) 10:58, 15 June 2024 (UTC)[]
I check a few as they already appears to be at the child category of the 50th G7 Summit. Probably I missed some. Will do the checking more carefully, and I will add back those I accidentally deleted. --A1Cafel (talk) 11:11, 15 June 2024 (UTC)[]

Hi! I have a question not related to Commons.

I would like to change {{GFDL}} to {{GFDL-with-disclaimers}} on a number of wikis for perhaps 2,000 files.

It is easy to do with a bot however it requires a bot flag. But what about AWB? As far as I know it is allowed to do edits with AWB without a bot flag?

I have never used AWB but as far as I know you use it and with great success. Would you be willing to do the task if I point you to the wikis?

One example is ku:Wîkîpediya:Dîwan_(teknîkî)#GFDL where I made my suggestion but there is no one around making comments or saying "Hey, I can do that for you with my bot".

In case you wonder I made m:User:MGA73/GFDL files and I'm trying to clean up in files using GFDL. First step is to make sure no new files are uploaded with disclaimers. --MGA73 (talk) 15:08, 22 June 2024 (UTC)[]

@MGA73: I'm not familiar with AWB, so I'm afraid that I cannot help you. Sorry. --A1Cafel (talk) 02:10, 24 June 2024 (UTC)[]

Please note (and respond to) the question at Commons:Categories for discussion/2024/06/Category:Files from Flickr (uncategorized 2016), if you haven't bookmarked it or received the ping. Enhancing999 (talk) 22:49, 28 June 2024 (UTC)[]
