Shown is emperor Komei. Empress Go-Sakuramaci is shown in the first paint of the triptych with a red kimono: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Meiji-tenno_among_kami_and_emperors.JPG. --Dia^ (talk) 17:18, 20 August 2011 (UTC)[]

If you read the descriptions at File:Meiji-tenno among kami and emperors.JPG more carefully, Kōmei is described as “seated in foreground”; i.e. the beardless figure in green and purple with red trim at the lower left of the right panel. Go-Sakuramachi is described as “presented as a man with a false goatee”; i.e. the central figure in green and violet. According to these descriptions only this central figure can be Go-Sakuramachi, for it is the only goateed figure: Kōmei and Amaterasu are beardless, and Jinmu and Ninigi-no-Mikoto have full beards. Thus the figure in File:Go-Sakuramachi cropped.jpg is indeed Go-Sakuramachi. (The figure “clothed in red” in the left panel is identified as Go-Momozono not Go-Sakuramachi.)
