I'm so impressed with Dog Standards. I'm a Farmer's Dog customer in the US, I'm currently in Canada for the summer and we've recieved two Dog Standards boxes and our dog is absolutely obssessed. Deliveries always show up on time, great customer service and the quality of the food is like none else. We tried a couple of other fresh brands before we found Dog Standards and our dog would turn their nose to them all. Thank you Dog Standards for making the best food!

4 days after my order, it was shipped out on a Thursday, and I didn't receive the box until the next Tuesday. Trust me when I say my room smelled like shXt when I opened the box. 1. Why will a fresh dog food company NOT ship the package with express delivery? 2. There doesn’t seem to be any kind of ice or cooling mechanism in the box. Even if it’s delivered next day, I doubt the food will still be fresh after being in room temperature for a day.

Dog Standards is a lovely company, run by great women and being Canadian owned is awesome! My dog is excited when he knows Dog standards is getting added to his meal, as we use it as a topper and he licks it all up! I recommend to all my friends!

Ever since I started feeding Dog Standards to my dog, she's been so much happier and energetic, and her gut health seems to be doing so much better, with her digestion actually being consistent. I've also noticed the normal eye discharge she used to get has disappeared. She also now jumps for joy at every single meal, when it used to be a struggle to get her to eat. They also offer great customer service - they're very responsive. Highly recommend :)

I found Dog Standards at the Canadian Pet Expo and was given a sample. My extremely picky 2 year old Maltese/Shih Tzu ate it right up, when he normally sticks his nose up at many high quality foods we've tried. I bought a couple packs from the expo and have since subscribed to their bi-weekly deliveries. Finally, a food that my dog continues to love and I don't have to mix treats into it to entice him to eat it!

The food is so amazing. My dog just lapped it up. I will continue to order from them. They are a small start up company and I hope they will continue to thrive.

Ordering from website was user friendly. Instructions were clear to follow for transitioning to your dog food and amounts to give once fully transitioned.

I've been a customer for a while now and have made several changes to my orders while we figured out which recipe my picky boy preferred and how much he would eat. Each time the dog standards staff was super friendly and helpful and always accommodated my requests. The food looks and smells great and Jasper gobbles it up! Ive tried just about every brand out there and dog standards is superior by far. I'm also loving the new packaging. Great product from a great company.

I tried several gently cooked food providers in the Toronto area and hands down my pup loved Dog Standards the best. I had to take away the bowl to stop him from licking every last piece out. For me, I like the convenience of the packages being pre-measured, no partial packages in the fridge or a scale to know how much to feed. I also appreciate that pet nutritional needs were taken into consideration when developing the meals, such as including necessary grains to reduce the risk of health conditions.

Easy to order. Arrived well packaged and on time. Food is consistent and enjoyed by my 6 month Bichon. My only criticism is that the food is quite crumbly. Maybe a moister texture would prevent the mess she leaves. Otherwise, no issues. Overall, a well managed and super convenient service.

Dog Standards was an instant hit with our two Italian Greyhounds! My girls, who are usually picky and sensitive to new foods, dove in on the first taste and haven’t looked back! Every morning is a party at our house with Dog Standards on the menu. It’s so easy and convenient with delivery to your door. The best part is less poop than on kibble and beautiful shiny coats! Highly recommend to anyone looking for something more than just kibble for their pup.

I highly recommend Dog Standards food! I expected it to be higher quality than the wet food I bought at the pet store (which was high end) but when I received it I was blown away by the quality - it looks good enough for a human to eat :) And my pup adores it - he starts crying for it as soon as I pull it out of the fridge :) It’s even helped me with his separation anxiety training. Before when I left, he would hardly touch any food, he was too distressed. Now if I give him Dog Standards just before I step out, he hardly notices I’m leaving he’s so focused on his food! :D

My dog LOVES the fresh food and Jessica is so kind and really cares about the nutritional needs of our pups. I love that a veterinary nutritionist is on board and helped to develop a balanced formula to ensure our pups are as healthy as can be. Thank you Dog Standards!

Turned out because of my remote location the regular delivery service wouldn’t work. I was informed by email promptly and a new courier was arranged complete with updates. My dog loves her food and I feel good feeding my baby healthy

Rudy (10yr old yorkie) has been eating Dog Standards now for about a week. It has been the best decision I have made. He has always been an incredibly picky eater and always needs treats added to his meals every day to try and get him to eat. With Dog Standards, I mix it 50/50 with some of his Kangaroo kibble and he eats it all in one go. In fact, I’ve noticed he is much more interested in his food and eating!

I love the fact that I can read and understand all the ingredients listed in the recipes. It is also fantastic to be able to support local and female owned Canadian businesses.

Thank you Jessica and Dog Standards for making the hardest part of my day, now the easiest.

My daughter referred me to DogStandards and my 3 babies loved the home cooked meals. My morkie has lots of allergies and is on medication and it seems it’s helping with her allergies which I am greatful. My chis loves it too.
