esrXP (Embed Subtitle Ripper) is a program to help rip the subtitle embedded in the video. esrXP do not recognition the text automatically. A filter is set to get the text part in the video and image for the text part is given to OCR convert the image to text.

Simple Step:
Open the video file with "File->Open Video".
Open the filter window with "Subtitle->Filter".
Click in the bar below the preview part to show the image of the video, try to position in the time with subtitle.
Set the number in the "Region" or click (you need to use both left and right click) in the preview to select a region for the subtitle.
Choose the "Subtitle Color" and "Outline Color" for the video.
Set "Enable Filter" then click "Advance" and set the filter setting, the text in the video will appear with good settings.
Set other settings. e.g. "Filter->Postprocessing", "Subtitle->Rip Option".
Click "Start" in the main window the wait esrXP to process the video.
Goto "Subtitle->Manger", delete and merge unwanted text image.
Enter the text in the main window, then save the subtitle. (You can use "File->Save OCR Image" then OCR to get the texts)
