Downloaded and it works, mostly.
Had a few issues, works with most sites tested but not all. get it working on the streamers like netflix and you are onto a winner.
issues with download list bogging down, only load one vid at a time and slowly at that (25kb/s). Now got it going on long lists of files doing 10 at a time showing 2-5mb/s.
Crashed a few times and restoring the list it checks the files 100% loaded, this is unnecessary and time consuming.
Issue with the "save thumbnail as file" option, not sure what this is supposed to do, but if selected open video downloads the whole entire video but only save a thumbnail jpeg, the mp4 file is lost. you can change back but the file link is comtaminated and will only repeat the process of downloading the whole vid and saving a jpeg. retry it and same result.
issue with the auto fill of copy link option, i never touched this option left as standard auto fill but now its broken .
really the whole copy link, change window, paste link, download process could be streamlined. put a "save link with open video" option in the right click context menu near the copy link option.
or better yet, integrate with the browser and have an icon to click to do the same.
on winxp fire fox has DTA (down them all) download manager and flash got stream grabber, used to be my go to. not avilable for later win os. DTA was great, browse a page with video content and click the DTA icon on the tool bar and voila, instant save. DTA also managed long lists of videos to download with ease, did multiple concurrent downloads, and ramped the data rat into the mb/s range.
Dowmloading in kb/s or low mb/s is a joke when my network is capiable of 300mb/s+ rates.
All in all value for money (ITS FREE).
