'ALL I DO IS GENTLE BITING'

’50 Shades of Grey’ fan is banned from sex unless he gives cops 24 hours’ notice ‘because he is too violent’

Cleared rapist says he is being targeted by police because of his fetish for kinky 'S&M' acts but he's not a 'sex offender'

A “50 shades of Grey” fan is banned from having sex unless he tells cops 24 hours in advance as he is a “danger to women”.

The dad-of-two says he has been targeted by police after being cleared of raping a woman because of his passion for kinky “S&M” sex.

Since December of last year, he has been the subject of an interim “sexual harm prevention” order granted to North Yorkshire Police.

It means that if he meets a new partner he has to give her name to cops 24 hours in advance of having sex.

Any new woman will be visited by officers who will warn her about the order and claim her new male friend is a danger.

But the former Tinder dater says the order was obtained against him on the basis of doctor’s notes which recorded his kinky “S&M fetishes” with the rape complainant as “sexual violence”.

He says all he admitted to was some “gentle biting” during consensual sex and accidentally scratching the woman while giving her a massage.

The man has already spent 14 months in jail for a crime he was found innocent of – and now he claims it is impossible for him to live his life due to the order.

“I have never been convicted of anything – not even a parking ticket. But I’m being treated worse than a child abuser.

“I’m really, really bitter. It was hard enough going through the rape trial. I thought it was all over.

“Then I got a knock on the door and find myself in a virtual prison. I had more freedom in real prison. There is no point in even trying to meet women because I would be going straight back there.

“Even if I did meet someone they are not going to hang around after the police have told them I’m a danger,” he said.

He claimed he reported his alleged victim for perjury after the case against him collapsed at Teesside Crown Court.

But he says rather than investigate his complaint the police obtained the order as a “conviction by stealth”.

The self-confessed pervert praises E. L. James’s 50 Shades of Grey for helping the jury understand his plight.

“Thank God 50 Shades came out when it did. My barrister was able to mention it at my trial. We did not just win. We ripped the evidence to shreds and wiped the floor with them,” he said.

The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, described his "months of hell" at York Magistrates for a civil hearing to determine if the interim order should be made permanent.

“The moral of the story is don’t get accused or you get your whole life closed down.

“This is just a malicious prosecution. It’s sour grapes because they know I am suing them.

“I used to play around and date on Tinder but not any more.

“The jury took just one hour and six minutes to acquit me and one hour of that was the lunch break.

“Yet I’ve become a sex offender by literally doing nothing.

“I’m in a state of shock. I thought police wanted to solve crimes not obtain back door convictions.

“This has put an end to my life.”

The case was adjourned until August after a district judge was told the man has parted company with his solicitors and needed legal representation.

In the meantime, the order will remain in force, as will a ban on identifying the man.
