I said on Friday that record lows for the the 36th Annual Daytime Emmy Award were a lock with the show appearing on the CW.
Last night's awards averaged 2.68 million people and a 0.6/2 rating/share among adults 18-49 from 8pm-10pm on Sunday night. Earlier in the evening The Daytime Emmy Awards Live Red Carpet Special drew 1.21 million and an 0.4/1 with adults 18-49 from 7pm-8pm.
While the awards show did hit record lows (see table below) it was the best Sunday night The CW has had in a long, long, time. Soon CW will turn Sunday nights back over to its affiliates to program.
