پاکستان کرکٹ ٹیم نے نومبر 2007ء میں بھارت کا دورہ کیا اور 6 نومبر سے 12 دسمبر کے درمیان 5 ون ڈے اور 3 ٹیسٹ میچز کھیلے۔ بھارت نے ون ڈے سیریز 3-2 کے فرق سے جیتی تھی، جبکہ ٹیسٹ سیریز 1-0 کے فرق سے جیتی تھی۔ دورے کا شیڈول جون 2007ء کے وسط میں جاری کیا گیا تھا۔ یہ اعلان کیا گیا کہ پاکستانی اسکواڈ 2 نومبر کو پہنچے گا اور 5 ون ڈے کھیلے گا جس کے بعد 3 ٹیسٹ کھیلے جائیں گے، یہ دورہ آسٹریلیا کے 7 ون ڈے کے بھارت دورے کے بعد ہوگا۔ اکتوبر 2007ء کے وسط میں، پہلے 3 ون ڈے میچوں کو دوبارہ شیڈول کیا گیا تھا جس میں یہ اعلان کیا گیا تھا کہ وہ اتوار کو تیسرے ون ڈے کو ایڈجسٹ کرنے کے لیے ایک ایک دن پہلے کھیلے جائیں گے۔

- Sachin Tendulkar (Ind) surpassed Allan Border's aggregate of 11,174 runs to become the second-highest run-scorer in Tests. He became only the third Indian, after Sunil Gavaskar and Rahul Dravid, to aggregate 1,000 runs in the fourth innings of Tests.[8]

- Yasir Arafat (Pak) made his Test debut.
- Ranjan Madugalle (SL) refereed his 100th Test.[9]
- Sourav Ganguly (Ind) scored his first double century in Tests. His 239 in the first innings was the highest by an India left-handed player surpassing Vinod Kambli's 227.[10]
- Yasir Arafat became the eighth Pakistan bowler to pick a five-wicket haul on Test debut.[10]
- Salman Butt (Pak) reached 1,000 runs in Tests.[10]
- Mohammad Yousuf and Younis Khan surpassed the pair of Yousuf and Inzamam-ul-Haq for most runs scored while batting together in Tests (3,080),[11] before it was broken by the pair of Khan and Misbah-ul-Haq in 2016.[12] They also surpassed Gordon Greenidge and Desmond Haynes (WI) for most runs scored together while batting against India.[11]
- India conceded 76 extras in Pakistan's first innings, the highest in a Test; it included 35 byes, the second highest.[13]
- As of 2024, this has been the last test match played between the two nations
