As a small business owner myself at the time, I understood the challenges entrepreneurs face and was blown away by how SumUp's products and services addressed those challenges. Since joining, my perception has only strengthened. I've always been encouraged to innovate and bring new ideas to the table. Starting as an assistant and moving to my current role, I've always been motivated to take ownership and proactively suggest improvements. Whether streamlining daily operations or contributing to larger projects, my suggestions have been welcomed and valued, driving me to seek and share creative solutions continually. Introducing Camilla Iniari Fonseca Chabuh, our Senior Project Analyst in the Operations team in Sāo Paulo. Camilla is responsible for creating and improving processes that help make the lives of SumUp's merchants easier. She's also one of the leaders of the Identidades TQI network, an employee resource group that provides a safe space for trans, queer, and intersex people 🏳️⚧️ "I embarked on my journey with SumUp 5 years ago as a support agent. I was known as the "Town Hall girl" for being very vocal in the company forums, always advocating for innovation and improvement to elevate our merchants' experience with SumUp. Transitioning into the Projects team, I immersed myself in a collaborative environment, where we worked at streamlining processes to benefit our merchants and enhance agent productivity. Over the years, I've gained a lot of experience through continuous learning, which has helped me progress to my current position as a Senior Analyst. We're given a lot of autonomy here, which doesn't mean we work in silos but that our managers trust our ability to innovate and give us the space to do it. Everyone here is super talented and always willing to help. My team embraces a culture of openness, and we ask for feedback from fellow SumUppers to refine our ideas and foster collaboration. Beyond my usual work routine, I take immense pride in co-leading the TQI network. Creating a welcoming environment for the trans, queer, and intersex community is crucial at SumUp.
