The dynamic pricing ruined everything

The dynamic pricing ruined everything. More and more shops use it and the price NEVER gets lower. TGTG has officially turned into a greedy, profit-maximizing corporate that no longer has its mission of reducing food waste for a fair price.
I was actually thinking to apply for a job there after my studies but the good image of them is fading away

Dear Customer Service,

Dear Customer Service,

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding my recent order. My name is Saber Salemi, and I wish to express my disappointment with the service I received.

Despite having paid the full amount of the bill, the salesman failed to prepare the packages for me. Instead, my bag was filled with items that were not part of my order.

I kindly request that this issue be addressed promptly and that appropriate measures be taken to rectify the situation.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I went this afternoon to Circle K on…

I went this afternoon to Circle K on Belcher Rd, Largo, FL to pick up an order placed on the TooGoodToGo app only to be told that all Circle K’s don’t have the system to use this app yet. I told the cashier that I just ordered at another Circle K the day before, so it can’t be true. He didn’t have much else to tell me other than they can’t do it. So now, after spending time driving to this place only to get nothing, I now have to wait as much as 2 weeks for TooGoodToGo to fully cancel my order and refund? TooGoodToGo should not add restaurants that can’t fulfill orders!

Yuzu

The staff at Yuzu is always really pleasant and efficient when picking up Too Good to Go orders. The food is always excellent and I’m always surprised at the offer. Medium surprise bags are most of the time a full sized poke bowl.

Too Good to Go reps may be putting too…

Too Good to Go reps may be putting too much pressure on small business to join their goals of saving the earth. They put out a new merchant Anthony’s Cookies (SF) when they have fully not decided to join in yet. Advertised goods to go when none are available but it wastes my money and time to go the store and come out empty handed and I’m just issued a refund for wasted effort of gas and time with no compensation. Poor customer service with Too Good to Go. You should compensate a customer when they get nothing out of these deals. At least a free good to go bag on their next purchase but you don’t care!!!

TG2G rocks!

This app is really wonderful in not only buying tasty food that otherwise might have gone in the trash, but it is also wonderful for finding hidden gems locally. I have tried so many new places I didn't even know existed. Some vendors are more generous than others, but it has been an overall pleasant experience!

Thee app of today!!!

I personally feel it’s great in different ways. It’s saving on food waste, it’s saving the users money in these times and it’s introducing them to places they may not even know about which for me almost every time has been a great new experience.

My first experience was great

My first experience was great, although I was a little scared because I didn't know how much food they would give, as half of it was a surprise. Nevertheless, I think this is a good idea for many people who can't afford much and only have a few coins in their pockets. I saw this app on Instagram and I was glad I came across it because now I can get cheap meals. They just need to add more stores to the list, especially since I'm in Tampa, FL.

People on low incomes are being…

People on low incomes are ripped off. Recently an order was also cancelled 5 minutes before collection time which left us shocked and most frustrated. Quality and quantities also present regular nasty surprises. Out of date battered produce which represents extremely poor value for money constitutes the vast majority of what gets issued to customers. Our last order contained 1 soggy vegetable wrap and 1 dried up oatmeal from Starbucks for £5. These 2 items combined cost less than £1 to produce. Being asked by TGTG to fill in customer complaint forms is a further insult as this will merely take up more of my time and effort for even less reward. There appears to be no goodwill offers compensation or recompense. Together, retailers and TGTG are making a mockery of what was once a great idea and service. TGTG serves as a partner of greedy corporate businesses that masquerade as ethical and environmentally friendly. Any positive reviews should be taken with a sizable dose of salt.

Good Value and Good Service from the App!

I have been enjoying Too Good to Go’s services for 6 months now and they have been helpful with any issues that have arised. When a store closed early, I was able to get a refund in a timely manner, when another restaurant cancelled on me, they didn’t put the charge through and so I wasn’t charged at all.

Not worth the time or money

Morrisons Guiseley. Very little in the bag and what was there was of little use. Shredded cabbage going brown. Oranges some green with mould. Chopped carrot and suede very soggy. Coriander beginning to turn yellow. Did manage to use a small bag of Wonky carrots. Overall not worth the time or money.

Manager was rude

When I arrived the manager did not know how the program worked and seemed unhappy to have to gather items. She complainesbout loud to myself and 2 other guests that her company needs to stop doing thing and not telling them properly. She slammed down the box and was very unfriendly

A bag of rotting fruit!

Spent £4 on a TGTG bag supposedly worth £12. Received a carrier bag full of rotting fruit. ROTTING FRUIT. Completely unfit for human consumption. My complaint to TGTG has yet to be answered.

This is awesome

This is awesome. I appreciate being able to find this treasure. Customer service is normally great when you go to places and you get a lot of food. Very excited to see what Gems and companies will be added. I thank the companies and restaurants that do not want to waste foods.

It's a great app

It's a great app! Good food at a great price, and helping to avoid waste. Norway is very expensive and with generally awful food, especially difficult for a vegetarian, but the app is useful even here. It's a treat to use it in a countries that have decent food!

Worry free to eat

The provider explained the food order for TooGoodToGo is still fresh to enjoy. Friendly staffs and serve as a normal customer whatever you not shop anything in store.

Great amount of food

Great amount of food, mainly fruit, veg and herbs which suit me perfectly. The only strange thing was I ordered initially and it was cancelled saying not enough food.. I clicked back on and it said there was still x1 bag left so I reordered and collected.. it was lucky I checked but surely that shouldn't happen??

I ordered a „breakfast“ from this hotel on two consecutive days. The mix of foodstuffs was slightly different, but was copious and of very good quality in both cases. I didn’t get a bag of “left-overs”, but a copious, tasty and well composed breakfast. Thankyou Steinberger.
