X264 Update: download the latest build (application)

here the not fancy application for auto-download latest build of x264.exe from x264.nl (thanks!!!)

simply run this http://www.64k.it/andres/data/x264/x264update.exe
and it will download the latest build of x264

you can create a x264update.ini for configuring what to download
example:

Code:
x86=true
64bit=true
set to false for not download it

the files will be downloaded in x264update.exe folder

May I ask why did you choose to use such weird naming convention for INI parameters?
I suggest to either use
Code:
x86=true/false
x64=true/false
or
Code:
32bit=true/false
64bit=true/false
It appears utterly messy to me as it is now!

and these "weird" naming convention inhibits the applications ?

it's a 2 line ini, and application works even without...

Now you most likely still have to rename the downloaded .exe file.
32bit: http://x264.nl/x264/x264.exe
64bit: http://x264.nl/x264/64bit/x264.exe

Those files are always the latest revision. Maybe just update the revision number only in the .ini.

your links are very handy

now.. the only advantage using my application is the auto naming exe based on version
