On Google Slides, you can remove the background of an image.
This feature is currently available on desktop.
Remove an image's background
- In a slide, select an image.
- Then, either:
- At the top right, click Remove background
.
- At the top left, click Format
Image
- Right-click the image
- At the top right, click Remove background
Tips:
- Images with removed backgrounds can't be reset with Reset Image. To go back to the original photo, undo or use version history.
- To remove an image’s background, you must be connected to the internet. Check your connection if the image background removal doesn’t work.
