кому: hheellss :As a white guy, one thing I personally never understood is why LATAM still has a racial stigmatism against blacks when Latinos are actually mixed with African. Mexico was the first to free slaves yet didn’t include its black population in their census until 2020. Many Latinas are clearly black or mixed with black but a lot refuse to identify as black or as part of the Black American community. They rather be called “Spanish/Latino” as if that’s a race. I’ve seen Honduran and Dominican women way darker than Oprah Winfrey, yet they claim they aren’t black
кому: hheellss :Yup, Mexico and LATAM received way more African slaves from the transatlantic slave trade than the U.S.. Less than four percent arrived here. Mexico was also the first country to liberate slaves and allowed runaway slaves from here to get freedom if they reached Mexico. Gaspar Yanga & the second Mexican president Vicente are 2 black icons in Mexican history. Sorry this is a lot of info lol, but this is the reason why Latinas have fat asses. A lot of Spanish food like rice and beans, plantains, cornmeal, tamales, pork, etc also came from Africans
