The app works is fine and I would easily give 5 stars, but the app does not support direct 'casting' to Sonos speakers. Apparently it only supports the google casting system. But as a music app it should also integrate other industry standars. As it stands I cant use this app if I want to use my sonos speakers. Instead I have to use the Sonos app, in which the youtube music service needs to be registered. A much worse solution to use youtube music features.

I've overall been very happy with YouTube Music; I think it offers way more than Spotify, which is why I decided to upgrade to Premium. The only issue I am consistently having is that the app will randomly stop loading, causing the inability to use it. I consistently check for updates and confirm I am connected to wifi. There is no reason for this to be happening as often as it does, and I might ultimately cancel my subscription for this reason, which is a shame.

It's just too damn loud. This app is just too loud. I don't know why. I finished my Spotify premium and decided to test out YouTube music. And to be honest I'd be down to try it out. But... Using my wireless earphones on minimum system volume on my pixel 6, it's just too loud. I'm sure the app is great in other ways. It works fine for my car since I like my music loud and I can control it from my radio anyway, but not for earphones. I like my eardrums intact.
