"new" xham
Just a copy and paste of what I posted on xham's blog page announcing the elimination of "old" xhamster.

Xhamster has always been our go to site even before we became members seven years ago. There are other sites out there like imagefap, zoig, showyourdick/cunt to name a few but they don't have the convenience, interaction, and user base we have here.
The first thing I notice while reading through the replies to this post is, there is NOT ONE reply that says "Love the new format, hate the old trash it." That says something. I too have a very hard time wrapping my head around this 1% thing when all I've heard here, in user status', and elsewhere is that no one likes "new" xham.
The first thing I like to look at when I log in is "My News" to see if anyone has posted comments or new content I may be interested in. Love reading comments. Such a turn on knowing others are viewing, enjoying, and getting off on our pics and vids. That's why we're all here right, to get off? Original xham is much more user friendly and easy to navigate finding those features. "New" xham is very difficult (for me) to be able to just click on and boom, I'm reading my comments or PM's. I do 99.9% of my surfing on a mobile device. (Which by the way, I havent been able to upload new content from in months) The new format is a nightmare on them. An exercise in frustration. Too much stuff going on, long to load, and the layout is weird. Doesn't "flow" as someone else said. I don't need to see the entire gallery someone has posted when the poster's choice of picture they feel best represents the spirit of the gallery is sufficient. PM's are a horrible layout too but, I do like the idea of being able to send private pics through it. I don't want to get into a discussion about improving original xham here. Not the purpose of this reply.
A vote would answer the question of what we prefer once and for all but I don't think it would have any affect on the inevitable outcome.
Sadly, the bottom line is exactly that. The bottom line. There's more money going in someone's pocket with the new format and there is no changing that :(
On a side note, what would be the possibility of buying the rights and programming to the old format, renaming it and starting our own site? We could crowd source it, make some USER SUGGESTED improvements, and have the best porn sharing community sites there is!

If they stop letting us revert to "old", that'll severely cut down on my activity here. Might cure my porn addiction though. lol
