    You can use QTGMC.
    Hi rgr,

That looks great, may i ask what settings were used for QTGMC please?

    Many Thanks

    DMS
    Code:
    ffms2("1.avi")
    #converttoyuv444.convertbits(10) #try
    qtgmc(preset="slower",inputtype=2, TR2=3) #or inputtype=1; maybe add sharpness=0
    #temporaldegrain2
    bicubicresize(360,288)
    nnedi3_rpow2(2)
    lsfplus(preset="slow")
I treated the credits as progressive because they do not look interlaced.
    Thank You

  2. On the first video 1.avi black background orange text I see on screen jitter at 10 seconds.
I would suggest a better quality VCR like a JVC SVHS if available.
The cheapest option would be JVC HRS 7500 none TBC with ES10 or ES15.

Buying a TBC is difficult and expensive, most of the ones you see online are broken or have issues
A TBC can introduce tearing if you are dealing with 2nd 3rd 4th gen tapes.

It all depends on how serious you are on capturing if you are a perfectionist then a full frame TBC JVC SVHS VCR.
Second option would be weak TBC with ES10 or ES15.
Cheap option would be non TBC SVHS VCR connected to ES10 or ES15.
