Revision as of 18:49, 27 January 2010

Please stop reverting on Template:Central America topic and start a discussion on the talk page or another related talk page (with a link from the talk page) to gather clear consensus. The current revert-warring will not help the problem. Regards SoWhy 10:49, 20 February 2009 (UTC)[]

Please be advised that you are revert warring on Geography of Mexico, and have done so 4 times in a short while. Stop. 69.158.150.169 (talk) 23:11, 7 March 2009 (UTC)[]

March 2009

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 48 hours in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for violating the three-revert rule at Geography of Mexico. Please be more careful to discuss controversial changes or seek dispute resolution rather than engaging in an edit war. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below. ScarianCall me Pat! 08:12, 8 March 2009 (UTC)[]

Saint Pierre and Miquelon national football team

Thanks. I removed the prod. You might want to update the page as it says it's not a CONCACAF member and it didn't play a match against Belize. The fist time I looked at the external I didn't see the match as I searched for Miquelon and this time I looked for Pierre. Enter CambridgeBayWeather, waits for audience applause, not a sausage 06:40, 18 March 2009 (UTC)[]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to C.F. América, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Will you kindly explain your reasons for revert? 78.146.56.46 (talk) 17:19, 31 March 2009 (UTC)[]

The term Latin America came from a common language root, not from religion issues. Religion has its own sub-section in the culture section.Jcmenal (talk) 18:02, 31 March 2009 (UTC)[]
You reverted against consensus though, and against sources. 78.146.56.46 (talk) 18:29, 31 March 2009 (UTC)[]

Blocked again

24h for edit warring / incivility at Template:Countries of Central America William M. Connolley (talk) 19:41, 7 April 2009 (UTC)[]

incivility?, naming racist to a user who clearly has a racist behivor is not incivility, beside user 69.158.150.169 ‎(a.k.a. 216.234.60.106, Corticopia and many other alias) uses offensive language as you can read in the article's history. Jcmenal (talk) 20:15, 7 April 2009 (UTC)[]
"but he started it" didn't work in school; it won't work here either William M. Connolley (talk) 07:48, 8 April 2009 (UTC)[]
I didnt requested a block revision, just check user behivor along the last months and years.Jcmenal (talk) 19:45, 8 April 2009 (UTC)[]

Club America Issue

Hey Jcmenal-

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the statement regarding IFFHS' All-Time Club World Ranking. There exists only one All-Time ranking, and the statement states the fact: Club America is the highest ranked Mexican and CONCACAF club in this ranking.

Stop changing the sentence around, because not only do you make grammatical errors, you also are implying that there have been many of these rankings. The sentence that you added should state that in IFFHS' monthly club world ranking, Club America is tied for fifth with Atlante; emphasis on the separate ranking.

I noticed that you wrote a comment on your revision saying that it is not just a Mexican ranking, I stated clearly that it is the All-Time Club WORLD Ranking-- If you would like I can add the fact that Club America is also the highest ranked CONCACAF team.

Leeward Islands Championship

Why did you change the 1949 winners to Anguilla? ANTIGUA won the championship, as stated on RSSSF. 92.3.99.90 (talk) 03:19, 18 April 2009 (UTC)[]

Ooops, my bad. I confused both national football teams. Jcmenal (talk) 04:13, 18 April 2009 (UTC)[]

List of territorial disputes

I have removed Channel Islands of California from the list of territorial disputes. You're welcome to re-add it if the Mexican government actually makes a claim to the islands, with reference to appropriate sources. Please do not add any unsourced claims to the list. --Amble (talk) 01:05, 17 June 2009 (UTC)[]

Also note that maps published by the Mexican government do not indicate the Channel Islands as Mexican territory. --Amble (talk) 01:08, 17 June 2009 (UTC)[]

January 2010

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Mexicali. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Please stop the disruption, otherwise you may be blocked from editing. - JuneGloom07 Talk? 18:49, 27 January 2010 (UTC)[]
