Conflict of interest and spamming Wikipedia

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Advice

You may not know this, but astroturfing campaigns on Wikipedia have the potential to backfire seriously. While Wikipedia cannot report about such incidents before they are reported elsewhere, Wikipedia has a very high Google rank, and user talk pages as well as article talk pages are indexed by Google. The more extensive the Wikipedia-internal discussions of the type of guerrilla marketing for Dr Grossan products that can be observed, the higher the chances that Google users searching for certain keywords will find them. If you are not actually payed by the manufacturer it's probably a good idea to stop now.
