This has been going on for long enough now. I see you got a conflict of interest warning from Orangemike almost a year ago, but you are ignoring it. I asked for advice with dealing you at the conflict of interest noticeboard. If you want to comment there, see irrigation. --Hans Adler (talk) 12:16, 18 March 2009 (UTC)
:Since you seem to be confused : the warning refers to this personal attack. --Hans Adler (talk) 22:28, 18 March 2009 (UTC)

Sorry to say I am not a physician, but my mother would be pleased you think I am. I am obviously biased I believe in this but no I am not who you think I am. I thought it was improper to assume someone’s identity on Wikipedia. Perhaps you should sock puppet yourself. To resolve this matter I have requested that a medical authority figure rule on the matter and the relevency of pulsating nasal irrigation within the article on Nasal Irrigation. I will abide by the decision as long as you folks will.--Grockl (talk) 07:02, 19 March 2009 (UTC)

I added a heading for pulsating irrigation above your abbreviated edit. Is this acceptable to you? BTW please stop referring to me as a physician - I am not. Can I add the photo? --Grockl (talk) 07:10, 19 March 2009 (UTC)

Conflict of interest and spamming Wikipedia

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia. While objective prose about products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Thank you. If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors;
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam);
    and you must always:
  4. avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially neutral point of view, verifiability, and autobiography.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have conflict of interest, please see Wikipedia:Business' FAQ. For more details about what constitutes a conflict of interest, please see Wikipedia:Conflict of Interest. Thank you. --Orange Mike | Talk 15:18, 17 April 2008 (UTC)[]

Signing your edits

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --Orange Mike | Talk 14:55, 18 April 2008 (UTC)[]

Advice

You may not know this, but astroturfing campaigns on Wikipedia have the potential to backfire seriously. While Wikipedia cannot report about such incidents before they are reported elsewhere, Wikipedia has a very high Google rank, and user talk pages as well as article talk pages are indexed by Google. The more extensive the Wikipedia-internal discussions of the type of guerrilla marketing for Dr Grossan products that can be observed, the higher the chances that Google users searching for certain keywords will find them. If you are not actually payed by the manufacturer it's probably a good idea to stop now. If you are – by all means continue, as the result will be deserved. --Hans Adler (talk) 12:05, 19 March 2009 (UTC)[]
