Explanation for dubious tag on European political party
Disambiguation link notification for February 14
Ciao Braganza,

Thanks for your contribution to European political party. I see that you added a "dubious - discuss" tag for the classification of the Alliance of European National Movements as "Right-wing populist". Could you kindly explain what led you to add this tag?
An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 2024 Italian regional elections, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page IND.

The ideology listed in the table is the one from the AENM's own page, and this is very much supported not only by the AENM's own ideology but also by that of pretty much all its (former) national member parties.

Hi Braganza. As you added neo-fascism to the page, ELAM (Cyprus), I thought you should be made aware that an editor has been disputing this and trying to remove this information. You may want to explain why you added it to them on the article's talk page. Helper201 (talk) 18:28, 31 May 2024 (UTC)

Moreover I think it's not correct to link IIC with what Pizzarotti and Falasca do: for example, Alessio Pascucci joined Greens and Left list at 2023 Lazio regional election. IIC is at the moment inactive, and what their former members do now is not something relevant for the party itself. Explanation for dubious tag on European political party[edit]

Ciao Braganza,

Thanks for your contribution to European political party. I see that you added a "dubious - discuss" tag for the classification of the Alliance of European National Movements as "Right-wing populist". Could you kindly explain what led you to add this tag?

The ideology listed in the table is the one from the AENM's own page, and this is very much supported not only by the AENM's own ideology but also by that of pretty much all its (former) national member parties.

Thank you for this information.

I see. The thing with European political parties is that their positioning is a combination of the positioning of their members, meaning you will always have some members that are more to the left or to the right, more moderate or more radical, more pro/anti-EU or less pro/anti-EU. I think in the case of the AENM, the qualifier is justified, as it reflects the position of many (former) national member parties as well as that of the (former) European party itself. This is not to say, of course, that this qualifier applies equally and as much to all national member parties. Julius Schwarz (talk) 07:20, 9 May 2024 (UTC)[]
