Welcome to Wikipedia! Thanks for your contributions to the coolest online encyclopedia I know of =). You might also be interested in how to write a great article and possibly adding some images to your articles.

RE: Fries Entertainment page deletion

Hi King Shadeed,

Although I can't seem to access the page that you linked me to, a Google cache confirms what you've said to be true. Therefore, I've deleted the page per G12 of our speedy deletion criteria, as an unambiguous copyright infringement.

Hi! :) I was checking the page history and was going to block the IP, but it seems like they have been using a multitude of IPs over the last month for similar edits - I've semi protected the page for a month, if the problem reoccurs after expiration, let me know and I'll make it longer. Your edit to the Associated Artists Productions article was reverted because it is clearly false. The a.a.p. library is owned by Time Warner, not MGM. MGM may have acquired the a.a.p. library when it acquired UA, but it was broken up by Ted Turner who kept the a.a.p. library. Steelbeard1 (talk) 03:08, 30 March 2012 (UTC)

AIP and Filmways are defunct companies which are also not MGM subsidiaries. The absorbing company was Orion Pictures which still exists as an MGM subsidiary. The references to AIP and Filmways being MGM subsidiaries have been deleted because that is false. Steelbeard1 (talk) 16:09, 30 March 2012 (UTC)

Only if the unit is still active on paper. Orion Pictures, yes. AIP, Filmways, a.a.p., no. Those three units stopped existing before MGM acquired the libraries. Steelbeard1 (talk) 18:28, 30 March 2012 (UTC)
