Welcome to Wikipedia! Thanks for your contributions to the coolest online encyclopedia I know of =). I sure hope you stick around; we're always in need of more people to create new articles and improve the ones we already have. You'll probably find it easiest to start with a tutorial of how the wikipedia works, and you can test stuff for yourself in the sandbox. When you're contributing, you'll probably find the manual of style to be helpful, and you'll also want to remember a couple important guidelines. First, write from a neutral point of view, second, be bold in editing pages, and third, use wikiquette. Those are probably the most important ones, and you can take a look at some others at the policies and guidelines page. You might also be interested in how to write a great article and possibly adding some images to your articles.

Be sure to get involved in the community – you can contact me at my talk page if you have any questions, and you can check out the village pump, where lots of wikipedians hang out and discuss things. If you're looking for something to do, check out the community portal. And whenever you ask a question or post something on a talk page, be sure to sign your name by typing ~~~~.

Again, welcome! It's great to have you. Happy editing! --Spangineer (háblame) 14:20, Jun 9, 2005 (UTC)

RE: Fries Entertainment page deletion

Hi King Shadeed,

Although I can't seem to access the page that you linked me to, a Google cache confirms what you've said to be true. Therefore, I've deleted the page per G12 of our speedy deletion criteria, as an unambiguous copyright infringement.

Hope this helps,

Pink Panther and Sons

Hi! :) I was checking the page history and was going to block the IP, but it seems like they have been using a multitude of IPs over the last month for similar edits - I've semi protected the page for a month, if the problem reoccurs after expiration, let me know and I'll make it longer. Hope this helps, The Helpful One 21:17, 26 January 2012 (UTC)[]

- Vandalize how? Do you realize that I just updated the source from the 08 financial report to the 10? Did you even follow it? Geez, wikipedia moderators are getting worse and worse. I'm going to update again and if you want to ban me for updating the information, feel free. — Preceding

- I sure did, you did not check the source before you made your assumption.

New source link: http://www.sony.net/SonyInfo/IR/financial/fr/10q4_sony.pdf

Old source link http://www.sony.net/SonyInfo/IR/financial/fr/08q4_sony.pdf

Please notice the 10q4 and 08q4 that's appended at the end. It's there in the article's history, clear as day. You can fix your own mistake this time. I won't bother. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.163.4.223 (talk) 17:20, 22 February 2012 (UTC)[]

Hi there! Yes, I've protected the page for another 3 months - hopefully the IPs will have forgotten about it by then. The Helpful One 17:50, 29 February 2012 (UTC)[]

March 2012

Your edit to the Associated Artists Productions article was reverted because it is clearly false. The a.a.p. library is owned by Time Warner, not MGM. MGM may have acquired the a.a.p. library when it acquired UA, but it was broken up by Ted Turner who kept the a.a.p. library. Steelbeard1 (talk) 03:08, 30 March 2012 (UTC)[]

But when a company is acquired and absorbed into a subsidiary of the acquiring company, the absorbed company becomes defunct. Steelbeard1 (talk) 10:35, 30 March 2012 (UTC)[]
