Basma Riaz Choudhry (Urdu: بسمہ ریاض چوہدری) was born in ---.She is an ex- M.P.A Member of the Provincial Assembly of Punjab.She is the daughter of Chaudhry Riaz Asghar,ex- District Nazim. M.B. Din (Brother -in- Law of Ch. Shujaat Husain). She took part in the general elections 2008 from the Constituency PP-117 (Mandi Bahuddin-II) as candidate of Pakistan Muslim League (Q) for the 2nd time. but unfortunately was defeated by the PPPP candidate Asif Bashir Bhagat by a very little margin.

The above mentioned defeat is thought, by the majority of the constitution, to be the result of rigging. Basma Riaz Choudhry is the person who is taken to be a well-cultured,civilized, God-fearing and very humanistic in her very nature.
