Campaign themes

2015

Feldman completed a voter guide profile for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch:

What are your top priorities for the district?

1. Provide the best education for ALL students, specifically concentrating on areas of deficiency: gap groups (minorities whose achievement falls below other students, English-language learners, students with IEPs), meeting these students where they are and taking them as far as possible. 2. Fiscally responsible budgeting. 3. Further develop experiential learning programs.

Why are you qualified to serve in this office?

I have been a school board director and vice-president and now president since 2008. I have made it a priority to learn about the district, its students, employees, parents and taxpayers. I have a deep understanding of the workings of the district and a deep passion for wanting to keep moving Parkway and its students forward. Before 2008 I worked on many committees.[5]
